NYC: THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING STEARNSEST

NYC: THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING STEARNSEST

Stearns Matthews will present his newest solo show, The Importance of Being Stearnsest, at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Tuesday, November 6th at 8:30 pm, Monday, November 19th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, December 16th at 6:00 pm. The evening will feature direction by multiple award winner Lennie Watts and music direction by James Kenon Mitchell. The Importance of Being Stearnsest is a study in trying to "keep on keepin' on" in a world where it seems like there are naysayers at every turn - and the conclusion that at the end of the day, what matters is being the strongest version of oneself. The show will feature music by Noel Coward, Joe Raposo, Stephen Sondheim, Brian Lasser, Jerry Herman and Chuck Berry, to name a few. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
