SF: WINDHAM HILL WINTER SOLSTICE AT YOSHI'S OKLAND
Winter Solstice will be presented at YOSHI'S (510 Embarcadero West, Jack London Square, Oakland, CA - 510-238-9200) on Wednesday, December 19th at 8:00 pm as part of their Bay Area Tour. Winter Solstice is original holiday music with uplifting, joyful and warm-hearted repartee, featuring three top Windham Hill artists known for their cross-cultural influences. Pianist Liz Story, a three-time Grammy nominee; fiddler/pianist/vocalist Barbara Higbie, also a Grammy nominee; and Celtic harpist Lisa Lynne, a multi-instrumentalist specializing in traditional folk instruments. The performers create a show that gives focus to dreams of positive change in the world. Multi-instrumentalists George Tortorelli and Aryeh Frankfurter provide additional musical support. There is a $20 cover.
