NYC: BEAT KAESTLI AND TRIO AT THE KITANO
Beat Kaestli will be performing his first gig with a program of (almost) all American Standards THE KITANO HOTEL'S GARDEN CAFE(66 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-885-7119) on Wednesday, December 19th with sets at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. He'll be doing arrangments from his CDs "Invitation" and "Happy Sad and Satisfied", as well as some new arrangements, a sneak peak of his upcoming CD "Collage" and some (Holiday) surprises. He will be joined by Ben Stivers - piano, Matt Wigton - bass and Fred Kennedy - drums, and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra's very own Kenny Rampton - trumpet. Call for cover/minimum information.
