Sandy Bainum's Sensational Seasonal Celebration will be held at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, December 17th at 7:00 pm. The show marks the launch of her brand new holiday CD called "This Christmas." It's filled with many musical joys of the season including holiday favorites: "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm," "The Christmas Song," "Waiting for the Man With the Bag," "White Christmas," "Be a Santa," "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve," and many more. There are also brand new songs by the legendary Bruce Kimmel (who also directs the show and produced the CD) and bassist extraordinaire Jay Leonhart that cleverly evoke the humor and warmth of the holidays. The CD features a fabulous orchestra and arrangements by Lanny Meyers (who is also the musical director) that are as brilliant, exciting and fun as the season itself. In keeping with the holiday spirit, proceeds from ticket and CD sales on the night of the show will go to BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS .
