Shana Farr will receive the 2012 Julie Wilson Award at the 23rd Annual New York Cabaret Convention on Wednesday night, October 17th! This award is given to a singer chosen by the Mabel Mercer Foundation who they see as a Rising Star in the world of cabaret. The evening will be hosted by KT Sullivan and will have performances by Emily Bergl, Barbara Carroll, Tony DeSare, Lauren Fox, Gregory Generet, Edward Hibbert, Valerie Lemon, Amanda McBroom, Mark Nadler, Catherine Russell, Amra-Faye Wright, and, of course, Shana.
