L.A.: ALEXANDRA THEODORA SPURLOCK'S "SATURDAY NIGHT LIGHTS"
Alexandra Theodora Spurlock hosts a new variety show featuring both teen and adult performers at M BAR (1253 North Vine Street, Hollywood, CA - 323-856-0036) on Saturday, October 6th at 8:00 pm. Performers include Beverly Mickins, the creator of "Story Salon", the longest running story telling venue in Los Angeles (Ms. Mickins has recently released her debut solo CD, "Everybody's Talkin'"); Rena Strober, from the Broadway Cast of "Les Miserables" and the National Tour of "Fiddler On The Roof" (Ms. Strober has just finished a successful run in Los Angeles of "Stoneface" a new musical about the great Buster Keaton); plus Nick Bradfield, Holly Gould, Joshua James and Clifford Bell. Musical Director is Tim Butterworth, with Peter Ewen on bass, and Tom Bowe on drums. There is a $10 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
