NYC: SEAN HARKNESS IN DUOS, A MUSICAL TALK SHOW
On the first Thursday of each month, guitar virtuoso Sean Harkness hosts two guests in his musical talkshow DUOS atTHE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). This month, on Thursday, October 4th at 9:30 pm, Sean's guests will once again be top performers from a vast array of musical genres from Classical to Jazz, Folk to Theatre, and Pop to New Age:Julio Fernandez, best known for his work with the Jazz Fusion group Spyro Gyra (Spyro Gyra has recorded 25 of his songs), and is also an artist in his own right; and Gil Parris, who plays with stars, is a star, has lesson books, Hot Licks videos, interviews & articles in all the magazines, does TV shows, has a signature electric guitar, raves from reviewers, and has a real life Grammy nomination. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
