NYC: JENNIFER SHEEHAN RETURNS TO THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
Jennifer Sheehan reprises her critically acclaimed '60s show, "I Know a Place," for three nights in October at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ). Backed by her trio led by music director James Followell on piano, Sheehan ranges far and wide into a kaleidoscope of styles to bring this 60s soundtrack to life. "I Know a Place" will be presented Thursday through Saturday, October 25th through 27th, all shows at 7:00 pm. The multi award-winner was the recipient of the first-ever Noel Coward Foundation Competition Award, and was honored by the Mabel Mercer Foundation with the Julie Wilson Award. This past fall she was named the first-ever recipient of the Johnny Mercer Foundation's Margaret Whiting Award and of the Dorothy Loudon Foundation's Dorothy Loudon Award. She made her Carnegie Hall debut as a special guest of Michael Feinstein and has performed in solo shows across the country and in the UK. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
