L.A.: SINGER/SONGWRITER SCOTT SNAPP AT GARDENIA
Singer/songwriter Scott Snapp will be performing at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Mondays, October 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th at 9:00 pm. Getting his start locally when at the age of eighteen he won the Monday Night Talent Contest at Ye Little Club in Beverly Hills, with its prize a week's booking, Mr. Snapp gradually began commanding SRO audiences at clubs in San Francisco and Los Angeles, including the Backlot and The Gardenia, along the way working with some of today's best-known songwriters, including Ron Miller, Oscar-winner Paul Jabara, and Oscar Nominee Allan Rich. He began to hone his own writing abilities, and now has his own impressive catalogue from which his shows draw their material. At any given performance he'll be joined by a drop-in appearance from good friends Sally Kellerman, Chris Bernette, Patti Brook, Jean Shy, Cortes Alexander, Peter Pergelides, and more. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum or dinner.
