NYC: ALIX PAIGE PRESENTS "A PAIGE ON MEN"
Alix Paige has encountered many different men in her life and has experienced love in all its forms. Now she brings her show "A Paige on Men: Songs of Love, Lust, and Loss" toTHE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, January 9th at 7:00 pm. Through old jazz standards and Musical Theatre showstoppers, Alix tells stories of love, loss, and just pure and simple lust as she explores the love songs of brilliant composers like Gershwin, Porter, Sondheim, and Kander & Ebb. She has performed with bands of all styles nationwide and performed her first cabaret at the The Globe in Miami, FL. She has sung with the world-renowned jazz pianist Shelly Berg and the up-and-coming star pianist Daniel C. Strange, in a concert for Angela Lansbury. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
