This will be the second night of her monthly Multi-Media Jazzaret show, with performances at 8 & 10pm. She will be appearing at Iridium on the third Tuesday of each month. Phoebe Legere is a multi-format artist who is fluent in both music & art & loves to invent new ways of breaking down the barriers between those art forms, calling her approach "Total Art Synthesis." Elaine St. George returns for two more performances of her show "InspiRAYtion: The musical legacy of Ray Charles" to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, January 19th at 9:30 pm. Ray Charles sang just about every kind of music there is, from rock & roll to Broadway, blues, country, and jazz. This show touches on all of those genres with songs by Lennon & McCartney, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Ashford & Simpson, and Buck Owens - as well as Ray Charles himself. The show features Tedd Firth as musical director and Adam Armstrong on bass. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $10 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

In this show, Jackie presents a personal, musical exploration of what it means and what it takes to "Go the distance" - through songs in English, French, Spanish and German. Composers include Ann Hampton Callaway, Lorraine Feather, Billy Joel, Brian Lasser, Michel Legrand, Zoe Lewis, Johnny Mandel, and Harry Warren. Jackie welcomes once again Music Director Gregory Toroian, on piano; Ritt Henn on bass and uke; Robbyn Tongue on alto sax, clarinet and more; and special guest, dancer Franklin Ayala. The Director is Helen Baldassare.
