TOR: "A TRIBUTE TO THE CROONERS" AT THE WINTER GARDEN
Sophisticated crooner Colin Hunter will re-launch his recent swinging big-band/popular music CD, Timeless (Select Distribution) with a gala, one-evening-only concert event, "A Tribute to the Crooners" at the historic, Edwardian-era Toronto theatre, THE WINTER GARDEN (189 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario CAN - 416-872-5555) on Friday, October 29th at 8:00 pm. He will be joined onstage by the award-winning pianist and composer Joe Sealy and his Quartet (featuring Paul Novotny, Daniel Barnes and Perry White), as well as by "The Starlight Orchestra" featuring "The Sparkelettes" (Mary Pannacci, Donna O'Conner and Kathleen Eyman), under the Direction of Anthony Terpstra. The concert event also celebrates the re-release of Colin Hunter's complete five-CD Catalogue, now available through the Montreal-based Select Distribution (www.distributionselect.ca), including Come Fly With Me; Timeless; Timeless, Too; Mostly AboutYou (with Joe Sealy)and More About You (with Joe Sealy).
