Bronwyn Rucker, vocalist, is joined by Saadi Zain on bass and Jerry Scott at the piano in her acclaimed show "Bronwyn's Speakeasy!" to be presented for just one night, on Sunday, October 24th at 7:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 ). The show is a journey through the gin joints, the roof top restaurants of Cafe Society and back room speakeasies of the 20's and 30's in a tribute to some of the great female artists of the time such as Libby Holman, Billie Holiday, Ruth Etting and Blanche York. The book is written by Bronwyn Rucker with legendary television and radio talk show host, Joe Franklin, who has encyclopedic knowledge of the era. The show is directed by the award-winning Jay Rogers. There is a $20 cover with a $15 food/drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
