Celebrated Argentine tango singer-songwriter Maria Volonte returns to the Bay Area after thrilling audiences in Argentina and Spain with her show of intimate and sensual tango songs, filled with all the sultry passion of her native Buenos Aires. She will perform for one night only, Tuesday, September 21st at 8:00 pm at RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189 - ). Deeply steeped in tango's fearless embrace of love, passion and obsession, Volonte creates an intense emotional universe that has thrilled critics and audiences around the world. Winner of the Carlos Gardel Prize, a Latin Grammy nominee and member of the Tango Hall of Fame, Volonte has come a long way from her humble beginnings singing on the streets of Buenos Aires, but still performs each time as if it is her first and last. There is a $28 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
