For one night only, NYC cabaret artist Angela Shultz reprises this show about the various souls who dwell within the songs of Brett Kristofferson in "Closer Than You Think: The Songs of Brett Kristofferson" on Sunday, September 19th at 5:00 pm atDON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ). Grieving mothers, angry teenagers, hopeful lovers, anxious bachelors - all these people and more represent the lives illustrated in a showcase of songs bursting with keen insight into the human condition. They are all given voice on stage by Angela Shultz, 2010 MAC Hanson Award winner. 2010 MAC Song of the Year winner Brett Kristofferson will also serve as the show's musical director. MAC Award winning performer and songwriter Hector Coris directs. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $8 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
