TODAY IN L.A.: TONY-AWARD WINNER SAMMY WILLIAMS AT THE GARDENIA
Sammy Williams, Tony-Award winner for his performance as "Paul San Marco" in the original company of A Chorus Line, will perform art THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444 ) on Friday & Saturday, September 24th & 25th at 9:00 pm. Sammy is also the recipient of the prestigious Obie Award and a Special Theatre World Award for his creative contribution to that show. He was also in the Broadway productions of The Happy Time, Applause, and SeeSaw, and more recently went back to the awards podium to receive a Robbie Award as Best Featured Actor in a Comedy for his role as a would-be Judy Garland female impersonator in the whodunit murder-mystery spoof, Doing Judy! Last season, critics raved over his lead performance as "Terry" in the musical comedy smash, All This and Heaven Too. Call for cover/minimum information.
