Adelaide Fringe Festival award winners The Jane Austen Argument (Best Cabaret 2010) are premiering their latest work, 'The Spaces Between', at THE BUTTERFLY CLUB (204 Bank Street, South Melbourne, VIC - 03 96902000) as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival. Performances run Thursday through Saturday, September 23rd through 25th, with a special preview night on Wednesday September 22nd. The indie darlings of Melbourne's vibrant cabaret scene, The Jane Austen Argument (Jennifer Kingwell on piano & vocals and Tom Dickins on lead vocals) have performed with punk-cabaret goddess Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls), Mikelangelo, The Tiger and Me and Emma Dean since returning from their critically acclaimed US tour in December & January. After winning over audiences in New York, San Francisco and Boston, The Jane Austen Argument returned to Australia to take out the Adelaide Fringe 2010 - Best Cabaret award for their previous show 'Where Was I?' 'The Spaces Between' sees The Jane Austen Argument weave an intimate web of stories and songs that veer between seduction, introspection and bittersweet comedy while exploring the spaces within our relationships, within our lives and within ourselves. Tickets are $17-$22.
