"HERE & THERE" - THOUGHTS, COMMENTS, OBSERVATIONS
This is a long issue - and Thursday's issue will be as well, since we are trying to get as many listings into the future as possible since we will be skipping the issue on Monday, September 6th, LABOR DAY (USA). And we are trimming our HERE & THERE sections to give more room.
First a few quick notes - commentary below the listings in HERE & THERE (CON'T).
The word is out that the BARNES & NOBLE store at Lincoln Square, home of the ANY WEDNESDAY CD release shows, will be closing its doors on December 31st. This will mean the second store closing for these events - the original site of the events was the TOWER RECORDS store, also in the Lincoln Center area of NYC.
