NYC PICK: BOOM! starring Liz Callaway & Ann Hampton Callaway
Sisters and Tony-nominated actresses Liz Callaway and Ann Hampton Callaway's show BOOM! will be presented for one night only at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - 212-997-1929) on Friday, June 4th at 8:00 pm. The show celebrates the soundtrack of these sisters' childhood with unforgettable songs from the 60s and 70s. Expect songs made famous by Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Carly Simon, The Beatles, Paul Simon, Jimmy Webb and Stevie Wonder. The actresses will combine musical forces and share heartwarming, humorous stories of their years growing up in Chicago and New York. One of today's most celebrated sister acts will put their unmistakable stamp on solos and duets of songs such as Got To Get You Into My Life, Up, Up and Away, Bridge Over Troubled Water, That's the Way I've Always Heard It Should Be, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? and Downtown among others. Tickets are $45-$50.
