L.A.AREA: ROBYN SPANGLER IN "LET ME SING"
BLAME IT ON MIDNIGHT (777 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA - 760-323-1200 - ) presents Robyn Spangler in her new show "Let Me Sing" on Sunday, May 30th at 8:00 pm. She is joined on stage by musical director Todd Schroeder. Robyn has had an interesting and varied career working both in front of audiences and behind the scenes in both the theater and film industries. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre and voice performance from Eastern Kentucky University and while earning her degree, Robyn continued to work professionally singing with the Cincinnati rock group Brandy, appearing in the summer stock Wilderness Road, being a singing waitress at CB Kendall's Music Chorale. An invitation to sing at Carnegie Hall in 2002 prompted Robyn to return to performing and appeared in All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten at the Whitefire Theater followed by Karen Morrow's Master Showcase both in Los Angeles. In 2009 she released her first CD "On A Liquid Afternoon" to good reviews. Her cabaret show "A Bad, Bad Woman" debuted in Los Angeles in May and was later presented at THE DUPLEX in NYC. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink or dinner minimum.
