NY STATE: ELLI FORDYCE TRIO AT THE PIZZA PLACE
The Elli Fordyce Trio returns to THE PIZZA PLACE (92 Main Street, Yonkers, NY - 914) 709-1050 - ) on Thursday, June 3rd with sets from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Elli is a 73-year-old native (she turned 73 on Wednesday, March 31st) New Yorker and Grammy-honored jazz vocalist, in the midst of re-starting her career, having released her 2nd album in two years. This appearances will mark her 1st year anniversary performing at THE PIZZA PLACE. A few unexpected guests may drop by for some duets and blues. The Pizza Place is a neighborhood jazz-musician-owned jazz venue with a way-more-than-pizza menu. No cover or minimum. (BYOB - $5 corking fee)
