S.F.: SONG OF THE MONTH FOR MAY AT MARTUNI'S
The legendary Song of The Month Open Mic continues at MARTUNI'S (4 Valencia Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-241-0205 - ) on Sunday, May 2nd at 3:30 pm (signup at 3:00 pm), hosted by San Francisco jazz vocalists Tess Kelly and Benn Bacot with Alan Choy on piano. SOTM was originated by Shane Kelly in 1999 at Martuni's and past hosts have included Linda Kosut, Lua Hadar, Bruce Phillips, Coley Grundman, & Hattie Mullaly to name a few. Participants are urged to bring at least two charts in their key, one of a new or challenging song and just in case there's time for a second song, one they would be comfortable performing. Call for cover/minimum information.
