NYC FUN PICK: Colleen Mchugh "Nailing The Carpenters!" At THE DUPLEX
Colleen McHugh continues her monthly CALENDAR GIRL series at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - ) with her latest show, NAILING THE CARPENTERS! on Friday, May 21st at 9:30 pm. The show pays tribute to the music of Richard and Karen Carpenter, complete with full rock band - drums, vocals, bass, keyboards - for an evening of Carpenters classics. Filled with original comedy and improvisation the show also features Jody Shelton, piano; Michael Pearce, bass; David Moore, drums; and the lovely Ashley Ward on vocals. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
