SAD NEWS: Frank Levandoski, beloved long time friend of Joe Regan, Jr. passed away after a long illness at 10:55 pm on Wednesday, May 19th. Frank had been in a nursing home since April 6th, but died at Lennox Hill Hospital NYC. More information as received. Joe has been a personal good friend and confidant, as well as a good friend and supporter of cabaret performers everywhere. Our heart goes out to him in his loss.
BACK IN THE HOSPITAL: Writing from hos cellphone last night, another good friend, singer/pianist Sammy Goldstein reported that he has gone back into the hospital on Sunday night after experiencing irregular and racing heartbeat and fainting. He is undergoing tests and now just waiting for results. Sammy had open heart surgery late last year, and because of complications was hospitalized for three weeks and five days. Once again, please remember him in your thoughts and prayers.
