The cabaret benefit series Cabaret Cares will conclude on Sunday, May 16th with a Gala evening at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). The evening will include a cocktail hour which will begin at 5:00, buffet dinner at 6:00 and show at 7:00 pm. The show will feature performers from all nine shows of the 2009-2010 series and some surprise guests. Scheduled to appear are Eric Michael Gillett, Raissa Katona Bennett, Tom Gmablin, Mart Bowe, Jackie Fornatale, Lennie Watts, Susan Winter, Lina Koutrakos, Julie Reyburn, Jene Hernandez, Carmen Ruby Floyd, Doreen Montalvo, plus additional surprise guests. Help Is On The Way Today will also present the first annual Spirit Award to cabaret and Broadway performer Eric Michael Gillett. Help Is On The Way Today is a not-for-profit organization that helps and assists children living with HIV and AIDS in New York City.
