Mary Bogue brings her show "My Friends Call Me Rosie" to THEGARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Friday & Saturday, September 12th & 13th at 9:00 pm. Mary will lead you to discover what made Rosemary's life so extraordinary. Featuring guest vocalist Tom Culver and the marvelous Steve Rawlins Trio - with Gordon Peeke on drums and Adrian Rosen on bass, it's a night to remember in the world's oldest cabaret venue. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum or dinner.

SAN FRANCISCO: PAMELA JOY SINGS! A SAN FRANCISCO SALUTE!

San Francisco favorite Pamela Joy will perform her show "No Mushy Love Songs" atSOCIETY CABARET AT THE HOTEL REX(562 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 - 800-982-2787) on Saturday, September 13th at 8:00 pm. Romantic love songs are nice, but songs about love gone wrong are more fun. Jazz vocalist Pamela Joy, praised for her velvety voice, her unpretentious style, and her skillful phrasing, presents an evening of standards about love on the rocks. She and her longtime accompanist Mike Greensill will put their spin on classic songs about love lost ("Angel Eyes," "Lover Come Back to Me"), love grown cold ("The Thrill Is Gone," "You've Changed"), accusations ("Why Don't You Do Right?," "Why Can't You Behave?") and excuses ("Don't Blame Me," "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man"), not to mention sweet revenge ("Cry Me a River," "Goody, Goody"). She is joined on stage by Michael Scott Wells, Christopher M. Nelson, Paula Heitman and Annalisa Bastiani, with special guest star Russ Lorenson and G. Scott Lacy at the piano. Nicolas Bearde and Grammy-winning composer, pianist and musical director, Nat Adderley Jr., who is best known for his work with Luther Vandross, present a very special concert of new music from their recent collaboration and upcoming recording project at YOSHI'S(1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600) on Saturday, September 13th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm.. This dynamic pairing of two stellar performers is guaranteed to create an evening of musical innovation, creativity, and a rollicking birthday celebration for Mr. Bearde. Nicolas Bearde is an Internationally renowned jazz singer of remarkable depth, range and technique who has won acclaim from critics and jazz audiences worldwide for his 'buttery baritone' and deeply imaginative interpretations. Scion of the famed Adderley jazz family, Nat Adderley Jr. grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. He started playing piano as a child and had his first song, "I'm on My Way", recorded by his uncle Cannonball on the 1967 album Why Am I Treated So Bad! - when the young Nat Adderley was only 11 years old. SAN FRANCISCO: SETH RUDETSKY: SETH'S BIG FAT BROADWAY AT FEINSTEIN'S

Sirius/XM radio's Broadway host, Seth Rudetsky, is bringing his hilarious one-man show - Seth's Big Fat Broadway - toFEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) for two performances only, on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th, both shows at 7:00 pm. Seth's Big Fat Broadway is described as a combination of "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "The Daily Show." The 90-minute tour-de-force features his trademark "deconstructions," in which Rudetsky uses his audio/video collection to break down brilliant performances from beloved Broadway divas (Patti LuPone, Betty Buckley) as well as showcase mind-boggling videos like The Osmonds singing a medley from Fiddler On The Roof or Cher performing all of West Side Story. There is a $35-$50 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
