CHICAGO: NICK GREANIAS - "THOSE WERE THE DAYS"
Nick Greanias presents "Those Were the Days" at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Saturday, November 28th at 7:00 pm. Greanias will be singing a program of songs that he has learned and loved while growing up in downstate Decatur, and then performing in ten countries and fourteen states, playing principal roles from great Broadway musicals and singing indelible songs from "The Great American Songbook." Nick's November show at Davenport's will be drawn from the singers, songs, and songwriters that he has been lucky enough to hear, learn, and love, from Tony Bennett to Paul Robeson to John Gary; from Kern and Gershwin to folk melody; from the stage and from the jukebox. Nick will be accompanied by his longtime collaborator and friend Judy Hays, a music educator and accompanist in suburban Chicago.
