SAN FRANCISCO: CHARLES BUSCH RETURNS TO FEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO WITH HIS ALL-NEW SHOW, "CHARLES BUSCH, THAT GIRL / THAT BOY"
After a sold-out engagement last September, the inimitable Charles Busch returns to FEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) for two performances only with his all-new show, Charles Busch, That Girl/ That Boy on Friday & Saturday, October 23rd (8:00 pm) & 24th (7:00 pm). The two-time MAC Award winner, Tony Award nominee, and drag legend will present an eclectic program of songs both contemporary and from the past. Accompanied by his dashing longtime musical director, Tom Judson, Charles combines hilarious personal reminiscence, character sketches and superb storytelling through song into one glittering, hilarious and glamorous evening in cabaret. Charles Busch is the author and star of such plays as The Divine Sister, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, The Tribute Artist and The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, which ran for nearly two years on Broadway and received a Tony nomination for Best Play. He wrote and starred in the film versions of his plays, "Psycho Beach Party" and "Die Mommie Die," the latter of which won him the Best Performance Award at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2003, Mr. Busch received a special Drama Desk Award for career achievement as both performer and playwright. He is also the subject of the acclaimed documentary film The Lady in Question is Charles Busch. He has performed his cabaret act in many cities including San Francisco, Provincetown, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, London, Paris and in New York at the Ballroom, Birdland and 54 Below. There is a $40-$55 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

Alicia Teeter & William Giammona bring their show "Stage Spouse" to SOCIETY CABARET AT THE HOTEL REX (562 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 - 800-982-2787) on Friday, October 23rd at 8:00 pm. They are accompanied by Ken Brill, piano Alicia and Will are very happily married - just not to each other. Having played couples in many musical productions over the years, the two open up to share their marital secrets and their passion for performing together.
