HOTLINE MEMBER CABARET EVENT TONIGHT IN FRAMINGHAM, MA: AMAZING THINGS OPEN MIC FEATURING LISA HALL

HOTLINE MEMBER CABARET EVENT TONIGHT IN FRAMINGHAM, MA: AMAZING THINGS OPEN MIC FEATURING LISA HALL

Every second Wednesday of the month Leslie Holmes hosts an amazing Open Mic night at the AMAZING THINGS ARTS CENTER (160 Hollis Street, Framingham, MA - 508-405-2787), and each show features a special guest. On Wednesday, April 8th the featured guest will be Lisa Hall . Pianist for both Lisa and the open mic is Tom LaMark. Lisa will share her 30-minute feature set, "Shall We Dance?". Lisa Hall, a New York City native, has always embraced music and song and had dabbled in musical productions throughout her school life. When she moved to MetroWest Massachusetts in early 2009, she participated in community theatre, and soon after was introduced to BACA and the colorful and wonderful world of Cabaret. Eagerly wanting to learn and sing, she quickly began to embrace Cabaret, Jazz, and the American Songbook classics. Lisa became a member of BACA, then a member of the BACA Board, and performed in open mics and showcases from Worcester to Boston.  She has never looked back. Lisa has been a regular performer at the charming venue, Nick's Restaurant in Worcester since 2011, and continues to share her music monthly in her own shows there singing Jazz, Blues, and the occasional splash of Pop, as well as singing monthly with the Sirens of Song at Nick's. This past December, Lisa presented (for the 3rd year in a row), another sold-out performance of Nick's Very Merry Xmas Revue which is a zany and thoroughly entertaining showcase with many celebrated Worcester and BACA musicians. The open-mic starts at 7:00 pm (signup at 6:30 pm), and the featured performers go on at 8:10 pm. There is an $10 cover charge ($9 cover for BACA members).
