NYC: NEXT NY'S TOP DRAG QUEEN CONTEST AT THE MET

Twelve NYC Drag Queens to fight it out on stage to be crowned 'NYC's Top Drag Queen' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Mondays, at 7:00 pm. The six-week juried affair, hosted by the Metropolitan Room, continues for its second week, and through sheer talent and hopefully not a cat fight, NY's Top Drag Queen will be crowned on the finale show on Monday, May 4th, when the series will come to its ultimate climax. The host the series for a second year is one of NYC's most famous Drag Queens, Holly Dae. Dae has been performing in NYC for the past seven years. She started her career back in Boston, and has since gone on to travel all over the US and European countries. Her quick tongue and witty comments have made her audiences laugh and cackle for years. Holly has won such awards as Entertainer of the year on Fire Island, Best Drag Queen by Get Out Magazine, Queen to Watch Out For in 2013 by Next Magazine, Best Drag show by The 2015 Glam Awards, First Runner Up at the National Miss'd America Pageant, and many more. Holly will keep these twelve vigorously pre-screened Drag Queens under control whilst they are judged by not only looks but by how well they sing and entertain. It will be a seemingly unending parade of new outfits, special guests, surprise guest judges and a mystery judge whose identity will only be revealed at the contests over-the-top finale. "New York's Next Top Drag Queen Contest" is produced by the Metropolitan Room and Joseph Macchia. The contest's permanent judges include Arsenio Amadas (Mr Eagle 2013), Frankie C. (columnist for Odyssey Magazine), and Macchia, the MAC and Bistro award-winning cabaret producer of "Cabaret Cares," "Broadway on 22nd Street" and "Boys Night Out." The mystery judge will remain "closeted" until the very end. There is a $16 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: STAGE TIME OPEN MIC AT THE MET

Performers are invited to get some Stage Time in front of other performers and some audience members In a relaxed, piano lounge environment at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, February 9th at 9:30 pm with Maestro Yaz and Michael Lewis Mejia. Make sure to bring your sheet music and you can sing more than one song. There is no cover, just a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: DORIS DEAR: GURL TALK: THE RUMPUS ROOM EDITION

Marty Madden and Double D productions bring Raymond Deforest as Award winning entertainer and actress, Doris Dear to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Monday, March 6th at 7:00 pm. Doris Dear, seen on countless stages around the globe and in movies & TV shows like "The Carrie Diaries", "Boardwalk Empire" & "The Normal Heart", is "in residence" at "Don't Tell Mama"! After her smash success debut cabaret last fall at Stage 72, she is once again with the award winning team of musical director Rick Jensen, director Lina Koutrakis and Thom Hubbard on bass. April's show will welcome a very special guest star into the "Rumpus Room", star of the Broadway hit "Chicago the Musical" Amra-Faye Wright joins in on the fun! NYC: VILLAIN: DEBLANKS AT THE BEECHMAN

Villian: Deblanks moves to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Monday, April 6th at 9:30 pm. You provide nouns, verbs, adjectives, desserts and body parts, and the cast provides the laughs - uncensored and unrehearsed - as it enacts the story using words you've put in their mouths. It's "Clue" meets adult "Mad Libs," performed by some of the funniest people in New York! Like a ride to summer camp in the back of a station wagon, each eye-watering performance is ridiculously one-of-a-kind. There is a $15 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: PATTI LUPONE - "THE LADY WITH THE TORCH"

Broadway's Patti LuPone returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for an extended run that begins on Thursday, April 2nd and extends to Tuesday, April 14th. Patti LuPone's appearances at 54 Below have already achieved the status of legend. The two-time Tony Award winner returns to 54 Below with her critically-acclaimed show The Lady with A Torch. LuPone performs an eclectic collection of torch songs by such composers and lyricists as Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter. The show is conceived and directed by Scott Wittman, musical direction by Joseph Thalken, orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick and dialogue by Jeffrey Richman. Show dates and times are Thursday through Saturday, April 2nd through 4th at 7:00 pm; Monday through Saturday, April 6th through 11th at 7:00 pm; Monday & Tuesday, April 13th & 14th at 7:00 pm; with an additional late show on Saturday, April 11th at 9:30 pm. There is a $90-$155 cover plus a $30 food/drink minimum.

NYC: BROADWAY MEETS CLASSIC ROCK AT 54 BELOW

54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) presents Allison Guinn (On the Town, Hair) and Brandon Pearson (Hair, Rent) in Broadway Meets Classic Rock on Monday, April 6th at 9:30 pm. Veterans of the 2009 TONY Award-Winning Revival of HAIR reunite with their friends and fellow rockers (including Shannon Conley of Hedwig and Lez Zeppelin) for an evening of pure unadulterated rock classics from Bad Company, The Allman Brothers, The Doobie Brothers, Humble Pie, Aerosmith, The Eagles, ZZ Top and more. Backed by Mike Greco's Damn the Light band! All proceeds go to Broadway Impact (http://www.broadwayimpact.com )! NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.

NYC: ELIZABETH STANLEY IN "CARRIED AWAY" AT BIRDLAND

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that "On The Town" star Elizabeth Stanley will be celebrating the show's creators Betty Comden and Adolph Green in concert on Monday, April 6 at 7:00 pm at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080). Elizabeth's very special guest will be Television/ Broadway star Andrew Rannells. Inspired by her current role as Claire De Loone in the Broadway revival of On the Town, leading lady Elizabeth Stanley pays homage to the witty and poignant songbook of the show's creators and original stars, Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Ms. Stanley explores some of the legendary duo's unforgettable hits ("Just In Time," "Make Someone Happy") and celebrates their collaborations with the great American composers Leonard Bernstein, Cy Coleman, Morton Gould and Jule Styne. Elizabeth is currently getting "Carried Away" in the Broadway revival of On the Town, as the man-crazed anthropologist, Claire de Loone. A Broadway veteran, she first caught the attention of New York audiences and Stephen Sondheim fans with her portrayal of the flight attendant, April, in the 2007 Tony Award winning revival of Company. She again pleased NY and Sondheim fans with her portrayal of Gussie Carnegie, in the New York City Center, Encores! production of Merrily We Roll Along. Other roles originated on Broadway include: Allison, in John Water's Cry Baby,and Dyanne in the rock'n'roll musical, Million Dollar Quartet. First National and Japanese Tour: Kira in Xanadu. NYC: JIM CARUSO'S "CAST PARTY" MONDAYS AT BIRDLANDFEATURED OPEN MIC EVENT

Every Monday night at 9:30 pm, Broadway impresario Jim Caruso hosts "Cast Party", a combination open-mic, networking event and party at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) during which the biggest stars on Broadway relax on their night off by performing their favorite songs in an informal setting. Cast Party is a mix of music, impromptu performance and cocktail party revelry, where showbiz superstars, stunning jazz talents and cabaret glitterati hit the stage alongside up-and-comers to serve up jaw-dropping music and general razzle-dazzle.
