NYC: ERIC COMSTOCK AT CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA

Eric Comstock returns to his residency at New York's newest music venue, CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA(178 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-995-0900) from 8:00 pm to midnight every Tuesday night. An acknowledged master of the American Songbook, Comstock has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and virtually every important nightclub in New York and across the country. He is one of only a handful of singer/pianists who can command a room merely by sitting at the piano, singing and telling stories. In addition to his extensive knowledge of repertoire, Comstock has a seemingly unending supply of anecdotes about the songs, the writers, and the stars who sang them. His unique combination of musicianship, history and charisma creates an experience that is as entertaining as it is musically savvy, and his audiences feel they've been to a terrific party where the music and the stories have been equally great. There is a $20 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: "AN EVENING WITH JENNIFER ROBERTS" AT MAMA'S

After successful shows at Judy's Chelsea and Don't Tell Mama, Michigan's Jennifer Roberts is back to celebrate her love for Manhattan with two shows DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Tuesday & Thursday, April 7th & 9th at 10:15 pm. Musical Director Tedd Firth will join Jennifer along with bass player Ritt Henn. Directed by Andy Gale with technical direction by Jason Ellis, "An Evening With Jennifer Roberts" features Firth's spectacular arrangements of songs from composers Leonard Bernstein and Kurt Weill to Cy Coleman, Sheldon Harnick, Duke Ellington and Dave Frishberg. Jennifer, whose regional credits include Sarah Brown opposite Broadway leading man Tom Wopat in Guys and Dolls, serves up an entertaining, exhilarating, jazz-infused show that highlights her wide vocal range. Drawing on her own diverse and eclectic background - she's been a symphony soloist, motivational trainer, high school drama director, Opryland theme park singer and dancer, and travels the country as an automotive industry spokeswoman - Jennifer's heartfelt, theatrical performance showcases her unique blend of drama and humor. Jennifer has appeared as Guenevere in Camelot, directed by Tod Booth, and in both the soprano and alto roles in several versions of The All Night Strut, directed by Fran Charnas. She boasts numerous radio and television commercials and has appeared in films and on television shows, including Conviction, opposite Hilary Swank, and Unsolved Mysteries. With a BFA in theater from Wayne State University in Detroit, Jennifer later studied acting with Uta Hagen. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: YVONNE CONSTANT: "WHAT NOW? A TRIBUTE TO MIKE"

Yvonne Constant, born on the left bank of Paris, performs her latest show "What Now? A Tribute to Mike" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Tuesday, April 7th at 7:00 pm. Constant began her career as a ballet dancer, but because of her comedic flair and charismatic personality, the other dancers urged her to become a musical comedy performer instead. Yvonne was cast to play multiple roles for the Broadway production of "La Plume de Ma Tante" and won a Tony award. When she did "The Gay Life" with Barbara Cook, Yvonne received a New York Drama Critics Citation as on of the season's Most Promising Actresses. Because of her quick wit, dynamic personality, and ability to do repartee, Johnny Carson had Yvonne on his show a record 45 times! Richard Rodgers saw her on the Tonight Show and immediately chose her for a principal role in "No Strings". After "No Strings" Yvonne played the French au pair in the Broadway Comedy, "Come Live With Me". In the movies, Yvonne Constant is best remembered in Disney's "Monkeys, Go Home!" with Maurice Chevalier. More recently, she played the French chanteuse, Annette, in the television mini-series "Sins" with Joan Collins. In addition, she has narrated or dubbed over 20 French movies including the much acclaimed, "Parfait", and was also the voice of Simone de Bauvoir. In 2007, Yvonne was one of the stars in the City Center rival of "Follies" in New York. Yvonne's memorable one woman show, "Yvonne Constant Sings Yves Montand" was standing room only in theatres and concert halls in New York, Chicago, and Washington DC. Yvonne has sung in cabarets, hotels, and supper clubs in Europe and many American Cities to consistently outstanding reviews. In recent years Yvonne has performed in several cabaret venues in the New York Metropolitan area including The Reprise Room, Danny's Skylight Room, The National Arts Club and the critically acclaimed Metropolitan Room where she appears regularly always with constantly updated shows. Her music director since 2006 has been the multi faceted Russ Kassoff. Yvonne was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government, and she maintains residences in both New York and Paris. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JAZZ LEGEND ANNIE ROSS TUESDAYS THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Jazz legend Annie Ross continues her unprecedented, record-breaking, multi-year run at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), every Tuesday night at 9:30 pm. Ms. Ross has been an abundant contributor to the art of jazz for over 50 years. Born in the UK, she has been a permanent resident of the USA for many years and a US citizen since 2001. Annie Ross is one of the pioneers of vocalese and the composer of "Twisted", one of the most well known examples of that art, as well as "Farmers Market", "Jackie" and many others. A founding member of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, considered the greatest jazz vocal ensemble of all time, her influence is present in all subsequent practitioners of vocalese. "Twisted" has been recorded by a host of vocalists, including some not normally associated with jazz, including Joni Mitchell and Bette Midler. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MICHAEL KIRK LANE: NOW YOU KNOW

Two time MAC Award nominee Michael Kirk Lane, returns to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Tuesday, April 7th at 7:00 pm with his all new show "Now You Know." "Now You Know" tells the triumphant story of what happens after life bends you over, makes you her bitch and forces you to grow a pair! With direction by Jay Rogers and Musical Direction by William TN Hall, the show also features Jon Satrom and Laura Pavles. There is a $15 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: PATTI LUPONE - "THE LADY WITH THE TORCH"

Broadway's Patti LuPone returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for an extended run that begins on Thursday, April 2nd and extends to Tuesday, April 14th. Patti LuPone's appearances at 54 Below have already achieved the status of legend. The two-time Tony Award winner returns to 54 Below with her critically-acclaimed show The Lady with A Torch. LuPone performs an eclectic collection of torch songs by such composers and lyricists as Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter. The show is conceived and directed by Scott Wittman, musical direction by Joseph Thalken, orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick and dialogue by Jeffrey Richman. Show dates and times are Thursday through Saturday, April 2nd through 4th at 7:00 pm; Monday through Saturday, April 6th through 11th at 7:00 pm; Monday & Tuesday, April 13th & 14th at 7:00 pm; with an additional late show on Saturday, April 11th at 9:30 pm. NYC: MICHAEL MOTT & FRIENDS: THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS HOW

That Was Then, This Is How will be performed at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Tuesday, April 7th at 9:30 pm. The show chronicles the journey of theatrical and pop singer/songwriter, Michael Mott, from small town dreamer to one of theatre's most promising new songwriters. Joined by some of Broadway and pop's most recognizable talents, Michael shares a personal side of himself in an intimate evening of stories and songs in That Was Then, This Is How. Directed by Hunter Bird and Produced by Shoshana Feinstein. Praised for his chameleon-like versatility, Mott is best known for his recently released critically acclaimed debut album, Where The Sky Ends. In addition to selections from the LP, audiences can expect to hear brand new pop songs as well as never before heard material from his original musicals Faustus and Mob Wife. NYC: NOCHE FLAMENCA AT JOE'S PUB

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
