Powerhouse vocalist Tanya Moberly returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with her new show series "Songs I Feel Like Singing", with four different shows with four different musical directors on Friday, January 9th at 7:00 pm and Tuesday, January 20th at 9:30 pm accompanied by Mark Janas, featuring songs by Leonard Bernstein, Bock & Harnick, Kander & Ebb, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart and Stephen Sondheim; Friday, February 20th at 9:30 pm and Wednesday, February 25th at 7:00 pm, accompanied by Sean Harkness, featuring songs by: Shawn Colvin, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young,Jethro Tull, Joni Mitchell, Harry Nilsson, Cat Stevens and Yes; Friday, April 17th at 7:00 pm and Wednesday, April 29th at 9:30 pm accompanied by Ritt Henn featuring songs by: Harold Arlen, Oscar Brown, Jr, Ani Di Franco,Duke Ellington, Ira Gershwin, Ricki Lee Jones and Amy Winehouse; and Friday, April 17th at 7:00 pm and Wednesday, April 29th at 9:30pm accompanied by Steven Ray Watkins featuring songs by: Betty, Toni Childs, Paula Cole, Dan Fogelberg, Indigo Girls, Billy Joel, Carole King and Annie Lennox. NYC: MARY FOSTER CONKLIN AT A MOSCOW 57
Jazz/ cabaret vocalist Mary Foster Conklin performs on Friday nights at MOSCOW57 ON DELANCEY (168 1/2 Delancey Street, NYC - 212-260-5775) at 8:00 pm. on Friday, January 30th the club celebrated its one year anniversary on the corner where Loisaida meets the Williamsburg Bridge. Owned by Ellen Kaye, singer/ pioneer/ force of nature, who nightly hosts the best party in town with a rotating group of artistsecalls it Hobohemia - A Rendezvous of Strangers. Mary sings a short set every Friday, with Ethan Fein on guitar and Benjamin Franklin Brown on bass. Call for cover/minimum information.
