Joanne and Bernie Furshpan at the THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) (he's the Managing Partner) on Sunday, February 15th at 7:00 pm as they introduce some of their favorite artists singing their favorite love songs as they celebrate both Bernie's Birthday and Valentine's Day in one weekend show. The show will feature poetry, song and story by some of our best performers at Metropolitan Room. Music Director: Tracy Stark. Tim Realbuto brings his show "Book Seller In The Rain: The Music of Maury Yeston" to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, February 15th at 9:30 pm featuring a very special appearance by Tony Award winner and Oscar nominated composer Maury Yeston. NYC: WILLIAM TN HALL: OTHER PEOPLE'S PARTIES
When Joan Rivers used to perform her cabaret act at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in Manhattan, the late lamented comic superstar was accompanied at the piano by William TN Hall, a charming young Englishman who immigrated here from London. Now Hall, who is also an actor, singer and music composer, is returning with his own cabaret debut with "Other People's Parties," at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 - ) on Sundays, February 13th and Monday, February 23rd at 9:30 pm. Hall, twice nominated best nightlife entertainer by MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets - http://www.macnyc.com/ ), will be singing his original songs as well as songs from artists such as Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Sir Elton John and Broadway composer Michael John LaChiusa. There is an $18 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

SALON - that unique, Multiple Award Winning, Weekly Open Mic Event, created and hosted by Mark Janas continues at ETCETERA ETCETERA (352 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-399-4141) takes place on Sundays from 7:00 to 10:30 pm (sign-up begins at 6:15 pm). The optional theme for the show on Sunday, February 15th is "Love Is A Battlefield". Remember, any material, on or off theme, is always welcome at Salon. Co-Host will be Jamie Salzano. The Salon Spotlight will feature Dawn Derow & Kathleen France. Salon is an ongoing open entertainment event in which singers, writers and musicians share their talent with each other and audience members. There is a $10 cash cover collected at the door and a $15 food/drink minimum (cash or credit) per person.
