HOTLINE MEMBER CABARET EVENT TONIGHT IN NYC: CAROLYN MONTGOMERY-FORANT: VISIBLE PHOENIX
MAC, Back Stage Bistro and Nightlife Award winning singer, songwriter and recording artist Carolyn Montgomery-Forant, returns to the New York City stage in her first solo show in eight years! Her show 'Visible Phoenix' will be presented at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Monday, December 22nd at 7:00 pm. The show on the 22nd is a special holiday performance, with special guests. Musical direction is by Donald Rebic (Leslie Uggams, Karen Akers), and the show features a five-piece band and Carolyn's trio of back-up singers, The Fine Whine. Directed by Eric Michael Gillett, this comeback tour de force incorporates music from a wide range of genres and eras, original comedy, and a few songs with music and lyrics by Montgomery-Forant herself.
