NYC: ERICH BERGEN: AN EARLY NEW YEAR'S PARTY

Erich Bergen, best known for his performance as Bob Gaudio in the Clint Eastwood film "Jersey Boys," and the current hit CBS drama "Madam Secretary," will bring his dry wit and smooth vocals to BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080 - ) ob Monday, December 29th with shows at 7:00 & 9:30 pm., featuring songs from his stage and screen career, and material from his two EP releases; his self titled debut, and the recent "Never Give Up." There is a $30-$40 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.

NYC: CHRIS BOTTI - 10TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY RESIDENCY

THE BLUE NOTE (131 West 3rd Street, NYC - 212-475-8592) is proud to present world renowned trumpeter Chris Botti's milestone, highly anticipated 10th Annual Holiday Residency - a three week engagement from Mondays through Sundays, December 15th, 2014 through Sunday, January 4th with shows at 8:00 & 10:30 pm (including Christmas and New Year's Eve). Botti has called the club his home every December since 2005. Over the years the residency Chris has featured special impromptu musical guests, such as Sting and John Mayer (2011). Celebrities from all walks of the entertainment business have attended Botti's Blue Note performances, ranging from Mary J Blige to Paul Haggis. Since the release of his 2004 critically acclaimed CD "When I Fall In Love," Chris Botti has become the largest-selling American instrumental artist. His success has crossed over to audiences usually reserved for pop muisc and his ongoing association with PBS has led to four #1 jazz albums, as well as multiple Gold, Platinum and Grammy Awards. Most recently, his latest album Impressions won the GRAMMY for Best Pop Instrumental Album at the 2013 55th GRAMMY Awards. Performing worldwide and selling more than four million albums, he has found a form of creative expression that begins in jazz and expands beyond the limits of any single genre. There is a $40-$75 cover.
