LONDON: RICHARD KATES: IT'S WHAT I UNDERSTAND!
Award winning actor and writer Richard Kates, star of Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph, Godspell, The Rocky Horror Show and BBC TVs Orion, brings his long awaited one man show IT'S WHAT I UNDERSTAND! to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL(20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888 - ) on Monday, November 24th at 8:00 pm. Alongside Andy Spiller at the piano, Richard takes his audience on a journey, performing some of the most lyrical, sharp, outrageous and witty songs to have been created for musical theatre over the past two decades, including Streisand's Got There First! and I've Never Been In A Show by Andrew Lloyd Webber. With three critically acclaimed CDs to his name, as well as the late night theatrical revue Wicked Lips and Su Pollard's one woman show A Song, A Frock & A Tinkle (he wrote and directed both), he now steps back into the spotlight.
