SF: LIVE AT THE RRAZZ TONIGHT JANUARY 10TH WITH RUSS LORENSON

SF: LIVE AT THE RRAZZ TONIGHT JANUARY 10TH WITH RUSS LORENSON

For everyone who lamented the closure of the Rrazz Room at the Hotel Nikko, have no fear - the new LIVE AT THE RRAZZ (1000 Van Ness Avenue, SF - 800-380-3095 - ) is bigger, better and more exciting than ever! Located at the historic Don Lee Cadillac Building in the performing arts district near City Hall and the San Francisco Opera House, the building is one of the great historic sites in San Francisco. Originally designed by the noted architects Weeks and Day, with architectural sculptures by the renowned artist Jo Mora, it is one of the two great temples to the automobile on Van Ness Avenue. A designated City Landmark, the building was completed in 1921, ushering in America's automobile revolution by becoming the home of the first Cadillac dealership in California. The building was renovated in 1989 with an addition containing a multiplex movie theatre, gym, restaurants, residential lofts, and now, San Francisco's Premier Nightclub.
Russ Lorenson be the opening act at the all-new LIVE AT THE RRAZZ with his critically-acclaimed tribute to Bobby Darin on Thursday, January 10th at 2:00 pm. With a swingin' 7-piece band featuring the Bay Area's hottest jazz musicians, the show captures Bobby's unique spirit, musical versatility, and fun-loving style! An innovative performer whose tragically brief life was often stranger than fiction, Bobby Darin worked his way from shady nightclubs all the way to the world-famous Copacabana, where he smashed all attendance records, and wowed audiences. There is a $35 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
