NYC: MISSY KEENE PRESENTS "AS LONG AS I'M SINGING"
Missy Keene and Ken Lundie (Musical Director/Pianist) hit the stage again on Wednesday, November 14th at 7:30 pm at the brand newCUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900 - ). Missy guides the audience on a sassy yet heartfelt musical treasure hunt celebrating some of the greats including Rosemary Clooney, Judy Garland, Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald and many others! Missy Keane is no stranger to the cabaret scene, having inaugurated NYC's Feinstein's at Loews Regency's popular Monday night series with her sold-out show Timeless in 2002. Trained at The Juilliard School, Missy's other cabaret shows include her return engagements at Feinstein's and appearances at Time Square's infamous Copacabana, Laurie Beechman Theater on Theater Row, Don't Tell Mama's, Backstage at Dopo Teatro, among many others. She has been seen in regional theatre as Sandy in Grease; Kim in Bye Bye Birdie; and a principal in Godspell.Missy has collaborated with her Musical Director, Pianist and Broadway veteran, Ken Lundie on her two CDs: Christmas Wishes and As Long As I'm Singing and is heading back into the studio to work on her third. There is a $40 cover - pre-show dining at 6:30 pm.
