Joan Curto will debut her new show: This is New: new songs, new dress, new shoes atDAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Thursday through Saturday, November 10th through 12th at 8:00 pm. Joan has established herself as one of the top cabaret artists in Chicago. This show will feature songs that have been in her "someday" file for a long time. Joining Joan for the exciting evening of song are Beckie Menzie on piano and Mike Torti on sax. Joan Curto has appeared across the nation appearing in concerts and clubs celebrating the music of the Great American Songbook. Chicago based, she is a familiar face to Chicago audiences. She has garnered a reputation for her thoughtful interpretations of the American Songbook and performs regularly at venues throughout Chicago including The Harris Theater, Davenports, The Drury Lane Theater, Thorne Auditorium and the Claudia Cassidy Theater.
