Faith Winthrop's career is as storied as her extensive songbook. She moves into theRRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) with her show "Ya Gotta Have Faith ... in song, spirit and sass" for one performance only, on Sunday, November 6th at 4:00 pm. From an aspiring 11-year-old treading the boards of the G line streetcar and spontaneously taking requests from passengers traveling from Brookline to Boston to the still singing and swinging senior, her life remains a continual love affair with song. Now she performs at major rooms everywhere. Her path to a vocal career began with classical voice lessons from the turban-topped opera diva, Madame Cleora Wood. And it was the encouragement from Billie Holiday that she continues. There is a $27.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
