L.A.: ROBYN SPANGLER CELEBRATES RELEASE OF NEW CD
Acclaimed singer Robyn Spangler will celebrate the release of her new CD "Why I Love Linda Ronstadt" on Saturday, November 12th at 9:00 pm at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444). She will be joined by her Musical Director, Todd Schroeder. Ronstadt is best known as the queen of the "rock ballad" with her string of hits in the late 60s and early 70s, but that's just the beginning of a four decade plus career in music which includes almost every genre. Those who have heard Robyn perform know that crossing genres is what drew her to showcase Ronstadt's career. Spangler has been singing professionally since she was 17 and made her cabaret debut at the Gardenia in 2009. She has taken her one-woman shows around the US and into New York.
