EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN, on the Radio over WBAI 99.5 FM and on the Internet at http://www.wbai.org/, usually heard from 9:00 to 11:00 pm on Sundays, and is hosted by David Kenney. The show starts an hour earlier this week for a special extended on-air fundraising broadcast. Each week David presents the usual blend of big-band jazz, swing, standards, showtunes, contemporary cabaret and celebrity interviews plus MEGA-MEDLEY MADNESS. On Sunday, October 17th, the show will feature the music of Frank Loesser. There will be interviews with Loesser's widow & Broadway star Jo Sullivan Loesser, Loesser's daughter & biographer Susan Loesser and loesser's younger daughter & actress /singer Emily Loesser. David will also feature a Live "In-Studio" Concert by Broadway & Cabaret Stars: Ralph Brande, Judi Connelli, Barbara Fasano, Suzanne Johnston, Liz Larsen, Christiane Noll & Jim Walton with piano accompaniment by Eric Stern, Rick Jensen, Tom Helm. Co-Host for this live "In-Studio" Concert is: recording star, cabaret legend & personal friend of Frank Loesser, Margaret Whiting.
