FEATURED CABARET ORGANIZATION EVENT
The New York Sheet Music Society returns for a new season it's monthly programs on Saturday, October 23rd at LOCAL 802 MUSICIANS' HALL (322 West 48th Street, NYC). There is a Flea Market starting at 12:30 pm (a great place to find music, tapes, CD's etc. at bargain prices} followed by a program from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. The program will feature Elizabeth Sharland's latest book "Behind the Doors of Notorious Covent Garden.The Cultural Heart Of London" about the history, the royal scandals, jokes, musicals at Drury Lane, the Lyceum ... and the ghosts! The incomparable Steve Ross will perform Noel Coward songs along with many treasures from the heyday of Covent Garden and the Tony Award-winning Tammy Grimes will be sing as well. The meeting is free to members, $10 for non-members.
