L.A.AREA: JAN DALEY WITH "WHERE THERE'S HOPE"
Singer Jan Daley makes an appearance atBLAME IT ON MIDNIGHT (777 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA - 760-323-1200) on Saturday, May 29th at 9:00 pm in "Where There's Hope" - A Tribute To The Love Songs of Bob Hope's Legacy with Todd Schroeder on piano. At an early age, Jan Daley had already broken into television with guest appearances on The Tonight Show, The Merv Griffin Show, The Dean Martin Show, and The David Frost Show on BBC, and co-starred in music specials with Frankie Avalon and Jack Cassidy. She's opened for headliners such as Don Rickles, David Brenner, Rodney Dangerfield, and Louis Armstrong in Las Vegas, but Ms. Daley admits her most treasured highlight was singing to 40,000 GIs in Vietnam and touring the World with Bob Hope's USO Christmas Tour. Her stage credits include a 15-month run of "Funny You Don't Look Life A Grandmother", "And Then I Wrote" with Peter Marshall and Mimi Hines, "Showgirl of 52nd Street", and for six-months, she starred in "The Follies" in Branson, MO. She has also performed in over 150 commercials, many seen Internationally. She has also released four CD's, including her latest: "Where There's Hope" - which is a tribute to Bob Hope. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink or dinner minimum.
