L.A.: JIM CARUSO'S CAST PARTY RETURNS TO THE MAGIC CASTLE
Jim Caruso, along with musical director Billy Stritch, will retune to THE INNER CIRCLE AT THE MAGIC CASTLE (7001 Franklin Avenue, Hollywood, CA - 323-851-3313 x434 ) on Wednesday, May 26th at 8:00 pm. Cast Party is a wildly popular weekly soiree that has brought Broadway glitz and urbane wit to the legendary BIRDLAND in New York City every Monday night for the past seven years. It's a cool cabaret night-out enlivened by a hilariously impromptu variety show. Showbiz superstars such as Michael Feinstein, Elaine Stritch, and Liza Minnelli have hit the stage alongside up-and-comers, serving up jaw-dropping music and general razzle-dazzle. Caruso is joined by musical genius Billy Stritch at the piano, and the audience is invited to participate in the festivities, so bring your music (in the right key). Tickets are $20.
