Two-time Tony winner (42nd Street, Grey Gardens) and star of the hit TV series Sullivan and Son, Christine Ebersole offers up an evening of classic standards and Broadway songs from her extensive career at THE CABARET AT THE COLUMBIA CLUB (121 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN - 317-275-1169)on Friday & Saturday, November 14th (8:00 pm) & 15th (7:00 pm). Christine Ebersole has captivated audiences throughout her performing career, from the Broadway stage, television series and specials, films, concert appearances, and recordings. Ms. Ebersole received virtually every Off-Broadway award and her second Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for her role as Edith Beale and Little Edie Beale in Grey Gardens. CHICAGO: BECKIE MENZIE & SALLY MAYES: ITS SASS AGAIN!
Beckie Menzie and Sally Mayes are back for ONE NIGHT ONLY at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - ) on Saturday, November 15th at 8:00 pm. Their SASS show, one of last seasons best, was so loved by Chicago audiences that they have come back together to do ITS SASS AGAIN! The girls take a musical journey through the Sass, courage and heart it takes to be a woman in the world today, especially in show business, don't miss the chance to see this Chicago sweetheart and Broadway darling come together again for one wonderful night. Menzie is an award winning concert artist and has appeared at some of the nation's top venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Birdland in NYC; and Chicago's Auditorium Theatre and Park West. Sally Mayes made her Broadway debut in Cy Coleman's WELCOME TO THE CLUB. Her performance won critical praise along with a Theatre World Award and Outer Critics Circle nomination as one of Broadway's outstanding newcomers. On Broadway, Sally is perhaps best known for her performance in the Roundabout Theatre revival of SHE LOVES ME for which she won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations.
