NYC: JOHN MINNOCK RETURNS TO THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
John Minnock will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, October 4th at 4:00 pm, with an energetic and entertaining hour of Jazz and Blues. John Minnock gained popularity as a successful singer in Boston, and is now a frequent performer at the Metropolitan Room. Combining great musicality and showmanship, John presents a lively evening of Jazz, Blues, Funk and R&B. Rapidly building a large New York following, and with a voice that recalls B.B. King, Billy Eckstein, and George Benson, John often branches out to jazz improvisation and scat singing, with interesting facts and history about the songs. John is joined by his trio: pianist Bill Duffy, bassist Carlos Mena, and drummer Pablo Eluchans.
