Drawing heavily on influences such as: Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Hiromi Uehara, Oscar Peterson, and Phineas Newborn while studying under the tutelage of legendary pianists such as Mark Eisenman, Brian Dickesnon, Richard Whiteman, Robi Botos, and Hilario Duran it's no secret where Patrick developed his unique, high-octane style that still clearly adheres to the art forms tradition. His education includes York University and Humber College and he is a recipient of the Berklee World Tour Scholarship for both sax and piano. There is no cover.

TORONTO: THE AULT SISTERS AT THE JAZZ BISTRO

The Ault Sisters will perform atTHE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299 ) on Thursday, August 21st at 8:00 pm. It may seem strange to call The Ault Sisters veterans, given that Amanda, Alicia and Alanna Ault are, respectively, just 22, 20 and 18. They have left novice status long behind, though, given that they released an acclaimed debut album, Christmas Feelings, back in 2006. They have studied music and performed extensively since then, diligently honing their craft and employing their prodigious vocal skills in a wide range of musical styles, with great distinction. The Ault Sisters have now turned to jazz, a genre in which their signature and sublimely seamless vocal harmonies really shine. The Toronto-based trio got back in the studio with their longtime producer, Greg Kavanagh (BKS, Wendy Lands), and an A-list of local players, to record a keenly-anticipated jazz album: Timeless. Musicians featured on the record include Canadian jazz greats Robi Botos (piano), Ted Quinlan (guitar) John Johnson (saxophone) and William Sperandei (trumpet), alongside the ace rhythm section of bassist George Koller and drummer Ben Riley. Whether used on classical, pop or jazz material, it is the vocal harmonies of The Ault Sisters that are their signature. There is a $15 cover.
