Tony Sands brings his show 'It Was a Very Good Year' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, August 31st at 7:00 pm. This show is a multi-media presentation, incorporating video and stunning graphics.The show portrays Sinatra's early days with Tommy Dorsey, to the bright lights of New York City, to his come back at Madison Square Garden the "Main Event". There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

This August, join more than seventy uniquely gifted entertainers, among the most highly regarded in the city, to celebrate work ranging from original compositions to treasured standards by the greats & absolutely everything in between. The NYC Cabaret Festival shines a bright spotlight on this most unique craft, & propels it into the future! There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum for each show.

Each week David presents the usual blend of big-band jazz, swing, standards, showtunes, contemporary cabaret and celebrity interviews plus MEGA-MEDLEY MADNESS.
