LONDON: MARI WILSON AT THE CRAZY COQS

"The Neasden Queen of Soul' Mari Wilson will perform at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED- 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Saturday, Jul y 8th through 12th at 8:00 pm. For over 30 years Mari Wilson has remained a much loved, respected artiste, delivering fans 'just what they always wanted': great records and fabulous shows. This week Mari takes her audience on an intimate musical journey, with a mix of classical and contemporary songs, from The Bee Gees and Bacharach to Chrissie Hynde and Gerry Marsden. Mari will also perform some of her own hits, old and new, and perform a selection of songs from her new show- 'Am I The Same Girl- Mari Sings Dusty.' Her unique storytelling and wit runs throughout, and of course there will be a few glamorous costume changes. In 2000, Mari was the obvious choice to play the legend Dusty Springfield on the hugely successful nationwide tour of Dusty The Musical and this year has seen Mari touring the UK with her sell-out concerts paying homage to Dusty Springfield with her unique interpretation of the classic hits along with some lesser known gems. LONDON: BENOIT VIELLEFON'S HOT CLUB AT CRAZY COQS

Benoit Viellefon is proud to present his HOT CLUB atTHE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Friday, July 11th at 10:30 pm as part of the clubs Late Night Jazz series. The show is inspired by the hot swinging music that emerged from the infamous Parisian Cafes and nightclubs of the 1920s & '30s. The HOT CLUB show celebrates the burning excitement of those sizzling gypsy swing numbers made famous by Django Reinhardt, together with the romanticism of the finest musettes and waltzes from the French tradition. With a nod to the American jazz virtuosi who visited Paris, such as Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet, HOT CLUB features both trumpet and clarinet alongside the timeless two-guitars and double bass lineup. The perfect mix of European finesse and the restless fervour of American swing, HOT CLUB are the modern-day embodiment of the spirit of a bygone age. Call for cover/minimum information.

LONDON: STEPHEN RAHMAN HUGHES AT THE PHEASANTRY

Stephen Rahman-Hughes will perform atTHE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Friday, July 11th at 8:30 pm. He is a multi-talented award-winning choreographer, dancer, actor and singer who enjoys a successful career on the musical theatre and concert stage as well as on the cinema screen and in front of the TV cameras. Stephen turned his talents to musical theatre and was cast in the UK tour of 'West Side Story', the lead role in 'Drive Ride Walk' at Bridewell Theatre and also played the role of Hardeep (Horner) in an adaptation of William Wycherley's 'The Country Wife' at Watford Palace Theatre.
